He earned his medical degree from Howard University, completed his general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital, and pursued a vascular surgery fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Akinrinlola holds dual certifications from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Surgery/Vascular Surgery. He is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
